Isabella Prosperi
Mexican artist originally from Colima, Col. where she currently resides and works.
Estudió arquitectura, donde por su inclinación hacia el arte siempre apeló a la importancia de la “arquitectura emocional” y la idea de crear espacios que no solo fueran funcionales, sino que transmitieran, evocarán o hicieran sentir.
After several events that lead to a pivotal point in her life, Isabella reunited with her love for plastic arts. This served as a way of healing and for her to find a new sense of self.
It was the play on colors, shapes, textures etc. that allowed her to express all of which she couldn't express with words, and to find a balance within her studies and passion for art. Paint and all it conveys has accompanied Isabella at the start of her career, but her need to express herself has broadened her use of different materials. Every piece contributing to self discovery.
Isabella strives to use her art as a means of showing her most vulnerable feelings, memories, and stories. By which she searches to promote the importance of connection, and creating a safer, empathetic and more humane space where everyone can feel free to be themselves.
